Notes

Notes and variations

  • Cranberry pomegranate juice works in place of cranberry juice. Avoid juice labeled light, low sugar or pure cranberry, which can be very sour.

  • Ginger beer can replace ginger ale, but it gives the punch a different flavor.

  • For the sparkling apple juice, use nonalcoholic or alcoholic apple cider instead.

  • The rum can be omitted or replaced with vodka. A splash of Cointreau adds orange flavor.

  • Freeze some of the fruit to keep the punch cold without diluting it.
